Misunderstanding or something else? WE WANT THE RESCUE OF ΑROΜΑΝΙΑΝ SPEECH.

In our present note we present two excerpts from a publication of the Association of Aromanians - Vlachs in our town (here in Greece) to our local newspapers 'LAOS' and 'EPIKERA' on the 26&25 of October-2010, respectively:
“Because of Mr Tsiamitros’ text, published in the newspaper LAOS (16-17/10/2010) and for complete and objective information to readers, the Board of the Association of Aromanians-Vlachs of Veria point out: The “columnist'' Mr. Tsiamitros, selective copyist, and often ‘trafficker’ of texts suggested by others, has made himself lately a vlachologist and criticizer of everything, his publications reproduce dissemination to the public, stereotypes and ideologies of the past, condemned  in people’s consciousness. Misinterpreting the depreciation of the Association for his publications, continues to be alarmist and pose malicious insinuations  (from  Face Book, too), against those who work to preserve Aromanian  tradition, drawing fears   of the past, and tries, unsuccessfully of course, to ‘undermine’(sap) the efforts of the Association for the conservation and preservation of the Vlach language”.
“Some specific circle of people, who consider linguistic diversity and variety as 'curse' for the place and not ‘blessing’ - among them Mr Tsiamitros and two or three others in our county - thinking in terms of the 19th century, ordered as a service, conceal their true intention: the disappearance of the Vlachic language”.
Now it is our turn. to reply. We present excerpts (in quotes) from Mr Tsiamitros’articles. His articles (in Greek text) about Aromanians-Vlachs are  45 so far. These are full with Aromanian speech, in original and authentic way and Greek alphabet (we wonder if this bothered!) spoken by   genuine Aromanian-Vlachs of our country. The space of a small article like the present   one  does not  allow us to write all words and phrases in the Aromanian-vlachic speech,  so we  copy  a few excerpts  of only 3 articles (from   customs of Aromanian-Vlachic tradition):

1.  EASTER AROMANIAN CUSTOMS. (From article published in local ‘LAOS’ on 04-02-2010) - (We use Latin letters here for obvious reasons).
 Wishes:
"Ou aroŝu, fatsa aroŝa” = red egg, red face. “Ka ou aroŝu kǎ kiatrǎ sǎnǎtosu = Red like an egg and strong as a stone “Gini vinis ou aroŝou, sǎnǎtosu kǎ kiatrǎ mi aflas, sǎnosou kǎ kiatrǎ smi alas = Welcome red egg, you found me healthy as stone, let me healthy as a stone. Gini viniŝ Luna al Pasti, io ka tini, ŝ’tini ka io, barba ata pun la keptu , barba amia  pǎnǎ  di badi,  kǎtǎ arina ari badi, tuts paratsli pungǎ ali tata =  Welcome Moon of Easter, I am like you and you  are like me, your beard till the breast, my  beard till the ground , as much sand on the ground, so  much money  in father’s pocket "

2. CUSTOMS of unmarried Aromanian-Vlachic girls. (from article published in local paper ‘LAOS’ on 27-02-2010)
Wishes:
“Vίniri iasti dzua al sta Viniri = Friday is the holy day of   St. Paraskevi. Flοarǎ galbiniuasâ, dzâ al fiatelor, zginã zm’adziutã, Dumǎnica tahina, ŝ Luni ŝiarǎ. Pri aroaua bratsâ, pri kalu ni-gâltsatu ŝi pri kale ni-kǎlkatǎ. Pri dzione nin-suratu, pri fiatǎ ni- mǎrtatǎ, nǎ untru tu mirei, tu gortsei, tu kâiŝi n-fluratsi = Yellow flower, tell the girls to come and help me on Sunday morning and evening Monday, hugged  by water drop’ (poetic) on a horse without horseshoes and on an inaccessible path. On a young man not married, on a girl not married too, among the apple trees, pear trees and flourished apricot trees
“Lilitsia dit t’mundi, ŝi amarǎndǎ dι t’kambu, dzâ Ali fiatelor, ŝi yina ŝi Ni mi adunǎ, Dumǎnιkǎ tahina = My mountain flower and amaranth of the plain, announce to girls to come to pick me up on Sunday morning.

 3. AROMANIAN - VLACHIC CUSTOMS for childbirth (from article published in local paper     ‘LAOS’ on 13-03-2010)
Wishes:
“Gini viniri, fiatǎ amia, ku arauǎ viniri, ku arauǎ s’fugã, fitŝiorlu sǎ nǎ adukǎ” = Welcome to them, my daughter, like dewiness they came, they may go away like dewiness too, to bring us the boy. “Νune, s’tsǎ bǎneadzǎ naua numǎ” = Godfather, health and life to the new ‘name’. “Pǎrintsi, zvǎ bǎneadzǎ numǎ, ŝi ku unã fiatǎ” = Parents, health and life to the ‘name’, may you have a daughter, too.

The conclusions to the reader   ...  How and where do we ‘undermine’ (sap) the Vlachic speech?  Any reader who wishes to have complete information (not selective),  the only thing he can do is,  to ask ,from  Mr Tsiamitros, all  his articles (his  mobile phone 6946461136) and he can  take them  in electronic form, or ask  them the from the   local paper “LAOS’
Finally, we will not come to conflict, again any other time, to anyone (group or individual) as far as speech, history and tradition of the Vlachs concerned, because it makes no sense. Besides, we think that, this (conflict) would not interest the readership. However, we owe (we should protect ourselves) a mild and civilized response with evidence, from mudslinging (with cries), as “selective copyist”, “trafficker’ of texts suggested by others”, “criticizer of everything”, “ordered as a service” and “his true intention: the disappearance of the Vlach language”.
Note: We prefer Greek alphabet to record Aromanian - Vlach speech when we are addressing to Greek people. If we address to people out of Greece (like the present translation) we will use Latin letters.
Besides, the first evidence of Vlach in written words and phrases in Aromanian -Vlachic speech were in Greek alphabet.  For example:
A. (phrase) ‘Torna, torna, frater' = ‘It turns, brother or brother come back’, by Byzantine historian Theofilaktos Simokratis, 6th AD. century.
B. “Virgire muma-λ Dumidzeου, ore tre noi pãkãtoŝloi” = ‘Virgin Mother of God pray for us the sinners’; from a wooden picture by Terpos Nektarios   in 1731 AD. in village Ardenitsa, Mouzakia plain, in Albania).

(We used only the symbols -ŝ-, -ǎ- for   thick -s- and voiceless closed vowel, respectively.)

By John Tsiamitros, teacher of traditional dances, published in Greek in the local paper ‘LAOS’ on 11-12-2010. Translation in English by John Tsiamitros, too.
